Do you offer a Wedding Cake Consultation?
Please call for an appointment to go over the design of your cake, and let me know if there are any cake flavors you are interested in so I can have samples ready for you to taste. During this time we can also go over photos or ideas that you may already have, and I can sketch a custom design. The cost is $25 and if you reserve your date with me, it will be applied to the balance of your cake. The consultation fee must be paid upon arrival of your appointment and any cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance. Appointments can be made no sooner than one week in advance, and a maximum of 4 people are allowed to attend the tasting. Consultations have a maximum time slot of one hour. * Sketches and designs exchanged by email are free of charge.
How far in advance should I order my cake?
Orders must be made as soon as possible. For simpler designs and cakes serving less than 50 people, a minimum of one week is allowed. Larger orders (particularly wedding cakes) require a minimum of four to six weeks in advance.
Do you deliver the cakes?
Cakes can be delivered or picked up depending on your needs. For wedding cakes or large orders, delivery starts out at $75 and is based on the distance from my Naperville location. I may only charge a minimal fee for smaller orders within a 10 mile range.
How are your wedding cakes priced?
My wedding cakes start out at $3.75 per serving for buttercream. There is an extra $2 cost per serving for fondant cakes. Depending on the complexity of the design, additional charges may apply. Please contact me by email or phone for a quote.
What are your Cookie prices?
Prices start at $3.00 per cookie. Discounts may be given for larger orders. Custom cookie designs are also available in sugar cookie, gingerbread or shortbread.

8" single tier cakes, buttercream — serve 10-12 start at $40
2 tier buttercream to serve 10-12 — start at $60
8" single tier cakes, fondant — serves 10-12 start at $60
2 tier fondant to serve 10-12 — start at $100
*Acrylic cake stands can be rented for $5.00 each for centerpiece cakes. Please note: $10.00 will be billed to you for each stand that is not returned to LuLu Cakes. I generally ask that all rentals are returned within a week of your event. However, I will give leeway for uncontrollable circumstances.
•Cupcakes
start at $2.50 each /$29.99 per dozen – additional costs may apply for custom designed cupcakes.
*Cupcake display towers can be rented for $5.00 each. Please note: $10.00 will be billed to you for each tower that is not returned to LuLu Cakes. I generally ask that all rentals are returned within a week of your event. However, I will give leeway for uncontrollable circumstances.

What is your refund/deposit policy?
Terms and Conditions of Sale: A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total cost is required at the time all orders are placed to reserve a date and product. If the order is completed, this deposit will be applied to the balance owed. If the order is cancelled or additional payments are not made when due, LuLu Cakes will retain this deposit. Please fill out the wedding contract for any wedding cake orders, and all orders must be placed using our LuLu Cakes order form.
